J & B Western Store started small--in 1985, J. R. and Betty Sundby sold saddles out of their East Gull Lake, MN home. Because of their great customer service, unbeatable prices and knowledgable staff, their business grew and grew. Now, J & B Western Store operates out of a 10,000 square foot store near Pillager. All Hallows Eve-the night when lost souls rise and wander the world! Throughout the darkened town the winds howled, dogs whined nervously and the townspeople hid quaking in their homes. In a nearby field rising up through the earth was Illuminati, a large black horse with bright red eyes! It reared and screamed!! Suddenly Illuminati bolted, galloping madly across the surrounding fields as though chased by demons! And so he was! As he streaked across the road into a pumpkin patch, dozens of jack o'lanterns (symbols of the lost souls who wander the earth) rose up to seize a ride on the horse where their lanterns would flicker for eternity.
